Summer nights riverside

Melbourne is definitely getting busier every year. They’re going to have to look at widening this pinch point eventually, but for now it’s a great place for condensed people watching.

Point Lonsdale

A cracking sunset down at Point Lonsdale Saturday night. This is probably about as far from street photography as one can get, but I wanted to share it with you anyway.

Royal Sunset ii

Royal park is one of Melbourne’s most unappreciated spaces. Many drive through it every day, but not many stop and take a walk. We watched this sunset alone, in the heart of the city. View larger here.

Prima Pearl is starting to put it’s mark on Melbourne with some fantastic sunset reflections. This view is down William Street from La Trobe Street and Flagstaff station.

Rialto Towers

The Rialto Towers were completed in 1986 and have been part of the city skyline my whole life. Prominent from almost any angle around south of the city, I hope the slew of towers currently being approved and built will have a similarly positive impact on the skyline in years to come.
