Phillip Wilkinson on Feature Friday

The street photography talent in Melbourne never stops surprising me. Phillip Wilkinson is the latest shooter I have come across. I was struck by his clever use of light, stark graphic style and the elusive ‘eye for the ordinary’. Of his work, Phillip says “I don’t usually go out looking to make collections of any forced meaning. The interest for me is seeing how others assemble meanings for themselves by choosing and arranging the images”.
