Melbourne is definitely getting busier every year. They’re going to have to look at widening this pinch point eventually, but for now it’s a great place for condensed people watching.
A cracking sunset down at Point Lonsdale Saturday night. This is probably about as far from street photography as one can get, but I wanted to share it with you anyway.
Royal park is one of Melbourne’s most unappreciated spaces. Many drive through it every day, but not many stop and take a walk. We watched this sunset alone, in the heart of the city. View larger here.
Prima Pearl is starting to put it’s mark on Melbourne with some fantastic sunset reflections. This view is down William Street from La Trobe Street and Flagstaff station.
I think there is something amazing about total stillness. Not only is it rare on a planet that hosts thousands of storms and weather systems everyday, but it’s barely conceivable when you consider we are hurtling through space at thousands of kilomoters per second.
